Booking Conditions

1) Stay
The stay directly confirmed by Antica Residenza Del Gallo or its agent, at prices that are fixed at the time of booking. These prices are determined based on market conditions at the time of booking.

2) Reservation
To make a reservation, it is necessary to send an email (info@anticaresidenzadelgallo.it) or fax (+39 583 492 743) specifying the arrival and departure dates, number of guests and your phone number. Once verified the availability for your dates, you will receive a written confirmation with details of all the services confirmation, the price / room (s) / night and the method of payment (deposit and total amount). Immediately after payment of the deposit, we will send you a copy of the invoice. Upon receipt of the invoice you will receive a confirmation and only then your reservation is confirmed. Note: Bookings can be made in person, by phone or fax or online.

3) Payment

  • The total amount for your stay is due at arrival at check-in.
  • At the time of booking will be necessary for a valid credit card, or payment of a deposit by bank transfer. Note: For overnight stays, the deposit shall be equal to the full amount.
  • Note: The price includes the room or apartment and includes all taxes and service but does not include the city tax, to be paid upon arrival.

4) Confirmation
The booking confirmation is provided to clients in writing by email, after verification of actual receipt of the deposit within the period set by management. In the absence of confirmation by management, booking is not considered complete.

5) Hours of arrival and departure
Check-in can be done between 3 pm and 6 pm, check-out till 10 am. For any need outside of these hours, please contact us.

6) Arrival
Upon arrival guests are required to present proof of payment of the deposit, as well as a passport or an identity card for registration, as required by law.

7) Amendments – Cancellations
In accordance with European standards and in the absence of other agreements, in the event of cancellation the following penalties will be charged (% of total stay):

  • If canceled up to 21 days to the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Therefore, the deposit will be refunded by bank transfer or online money transfer, net of expenses. If canceled up to 20 days to the arrival date, the deposit will be fully preserved and will be charged the equivalent of the entire stay booked.
  • In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained. For last minute bookings, in case of no-show, the cost of one night will be charged to your credit card.

8) Number of people – Replacing people – Animals
Only people whose presence has been recorded by the competent authorities can be accommodated in the building. The number of people (adults and children) cannot exceed the number of beds indicated by the reservation confirmation received by management. Any exceptions are noted on our website or may be agreed in writing between the parties. Any replacement of people during the period of stay is prohibited without prior agreement. The customer is required to mention at the time of booking the presence of pets, stating the number and size. The animals will be allowed only if they are expressly authorized by the owner or his representative. The clients have the obligation to monitor animals in public areas of the property.

9) Authorization for loading and unloading luggage in urban areas
Guests should indicate at the time of booking (if you want to enter the urban area to the residence for loading and unloading luggage) the type of car and the license plate number of the car with which they wish to enter the city; management communicate this data to the municipality of Lucca. This will ensure you do not get fined if you pas without authorization by a gate guarded by video cameras. If you take a rental car, before entering the city, you must provide the requested information.

10) Responsibility
Any dispute relating stay or the services will be mentioned at the reception of the hotel. Complaints received after the end of the stay will not be entitled to any compensation. In no case, the owner will not be required to reimburse the agreed rental price.

11) Forum and legal expertise
For whatever controversy regarding reservation or location, the place of jurisdiction is Lucca (LU). The Italian law is applicable. Reservation implicates the knowledge of the general conditions and implies their acceptance. If one of the conditions of the contract was or becomes invalid, or if there is a gap, the validity of the remaining conditions cannot be questioned.

  • We do not provide breakfast service.
  • The baby bed or extra bed can be added upon payment of the required service.
  • For short stays (less than 6 days), the cleaning service for the room and change of linen is provided on arrival and departure, and every 2 days.
  • For longer stays in place (more than 7 days) that will be done every 3 days.
